Warnes II
Engineering and Logistics for Wind Turbine Transport
As part of the Warnes 2 Project, we were contracted to take on one of the most demanding logistical and engineering challenges: planning and executing the river transport of large-scale wind turbine components.
Our involvement included the complete design of the loading plan for 20 barges, considering both the dimensions and the extreme weight of certain pieces, which exceeded 150 tons.
- Structural design and calculation of the necessary supports.
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS to validate structural behavior under real loading conditions.
- Custom manufacturing of components.
- Development of loading, stowage, and lashing plans.
- Development of the specific loading sequence for each barge, adapted to the characteristics of the transported assembly.
- Combination and utilization of box and rake type barges, optimizing space and weight distribution.
- Stability calculations for each river unit.
Each support was specifically designed to adapt to the conditions of the route, ensuring safety and efficiency in the operation. The integration of engineering, advanced simulation, logistics, and field experience was key to meeting project deadlines and standards.

Fenix Project
Seafastening and Grillage
We were contracted to perform the Seafastening and Grillage for the entire FENIX subsea platform campaign, where we had the opportunity to perform grillage on more than 20 supply vessels. We manufactured all seafastening and supports for the assembly of mobile plants, ensuring total safety during the maritime navigation of the transported plants.
Project Housing Units
We were contracted for cargo positioning, cargo control, and seafastening and grillage—
providing correct and appropriate cargo securing on a vessel with three levels of subdivided holds for maritime navigation from Puerto TZ to Puerto Williams in Chile.
